sequester (v) - to withdraw; set apart; sseize; as, to sequester or withhold funds to meet government deficit targets. Also, to seclude; as, the jury was sequestered in a hotel. Latin sequestrare (to surrender for safekeeping)

I'd heard of a sequestration order but I am not particularly familiar with this word.

Most things now are written for the comprehension of a 10 year old, no wonder we're dumbing down.
